Day 9 Santa Rosa NM to Santa Fe NM - Part 2

Miles today 155 (1559miles so far)

After K's nap we went back into town. We went to the Plaza bakery and hung out for a couple of hours, people watching etc. We werent hungry for dinner so we both just had a bagel and cream cheese. The bakery was fun as it was really busy and a lot of 'interesting' people were in and out. A guy sat and the table next to us and created his own ambience by putting a cut flower in a water bottle, weird. I think all the hippys now live in Santa Fe.

After the bakery we went down to starbucks as we still hadnt managed to get a green tea frap (thanks isi!), mostly due to K's commitment to sweet iced tea.

On the way back to the motel we went 'cruising' (k's word, not mine) again mostly cos K wanted to get herself some sweet tea, she is nothing if not committed! In the end she got about a litre of it from McDonalds for less than $2, she is sipping it currrently.

I am so tired, I think that it is because of the heat and also I have been waking up way too early for 'holiday mode'.
